South American Soccer: Cryptocurrency trading enters- CONMEBOL has announced an alliance to crypto exchange Crypto.com, as the official sponsor of CONMEBOL Libertadores.
- CONMEBOL and crypto.com are fully involved in the development of NFT’s associated with the Intellectual Property of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Competition.
Between 2023-2026, the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup will be sponsored by Crypto.com and South American Football Confederation. This multiyear agreement was made between Crypto.com and Crypto.com.
This alliance ensures that Crypto.com is one of CONMEBOL Libertadores NFT’s official license holders. The agreement also includes Crypto.com being included in Virtual Assistant Referee’s (VAR), as an associate brand.
Exposure in broadcasts or events authorized by CONMEBOL Libertadores may also be beneficial for both brand and digital assets.
Thanks to this agreement, CONMEBOL and crypto.com will also begin to develop “NFTs associated with the Intellectual Property of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Competition on the crypto.com NFT platform,” according to the website of the sports organization.
