Cathie Wood’s ARK buys a million Twitter shares after Dorsey steps down -Breaking

(Reuters) – Cathie Wood’s ARK Investment Management purchased more than a million shares Twitter Inc (NYSE:) A day after Jack Dorsey’s resignation as chief executive of the social media site.

According to the company’s daily trade reports, ARK purchased 1.1million Twitter shares in a transaction worth $48.9million at Tuesday’s closing value of $43.94, The shares had dropped 3.4% since opening lower.

After Parag Agrawal was appointed CEO by the company as its tech chief, shares were down 2.7%.

Ark also purchased 837,248 shares from an online brokerage company on Tuesday Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ) valued at $21.7 Million. The company had bought 915,063 shares the day before, taking advantage of a pullback.
