Japan’s consumer confidence unchanged in Nov

TOKYO, Reuters – Japan’s confidence in its consumers remained flat in November according to the government on Thursday. This was despite an increase in economic activity following coronavirus infection.

The Cabinet Office Survey showed that the sentiment index for general household, which considers views on incomes and job prospects, was 39.5 in November. It was unchanged from October.

According to the government, there are still signs of improvement in its sentiment index assessment.
