Renault plans fewer job cuts in France than initially planned

PARIS (Reuters), – French automaker Renault (PA) The company’s talks with unions have ended, Les Echos reports on Monday. They now plan to make 1,700 job cuts in the coming three years, according to the business newspaper Les Echos.

Renault France announced that in September it will reduce up to 2,000 jobs as engineers and support staff. It is shifting into electric vehicles and hiring in different roles.
