Singapore suspends Bitget exchange license over K-Pop coin promotion -Breaking

Singapore-headquartered digital asset platform, Bitget, has reportedly been suspended by the Monetary Authority of Singapore after getting into a dispute with an agency for the popular K-Pop boy band BTS.

As reportedThe Financial Times reported that Bitget had lost its Singapore license due to the controversy surrounding the listing of an Army Coin-related cryptocurrency. Although Bitget lost the Singapore license, it claims that the cryptocurrency exchange has licenses in Canada, Australia and the United States.
