BERLIN, (Reuters) – German industrial orders declined more than expected in October because of weaker international demand. Data from Monday showed that this further clouded the outlook for growth in Europe’s biggest economy.

According to the Federal Statistics Office, 6.9% of orders for German goods fell in October seasonally after an increase of 1.8% in September.

According to Reuters, analysts expected a decrease of 0.5% in monthly sales.
