Hawaiian Airlines CEO Peter Ingram told a CAPA Centre for Aviation event that “it would be foolish to believe we didn’t suffer a setback”
“We’re going to need to watch what happens in this area in the days to come.”
He stated that before Omicron was introduced, there were positive signs that travel restrictions in important markets, such as Australia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, were beginning to relax.
Ingram reported that the number of international visitors to Hawaii is about 5% below pre-pandemic levels.
