Singapore suspends exchange Bitget’s license over K-pop coin promotion -Breaking

Singapore-headquartered digital asset platform Bitget has reportedly been suspended by the Monetary Authority of Singapore after getting into a dispute with an agency representing the popular K-pop boy band BTS.
As reportedThe Financial Times reported that Bitget had lost its Singapore license after the controversial listing and sale of a Kpop-related cryptocurrency, Army Coin (ARMY), on Sunday. However, Bitget claims it has licenses in Canada, Australia and the United States.
