BOJ has no need to modify ultra-easy policy, says deputy gov Amamiya -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Bank of Japan Deputy governor Masayoshi Amamiya stated Wednesday that the bank does not need to adjust its loose monetary policy. Inflation is “well below” its 2% target.

Amamiya stated in speech that “in light of Japan’s current price situation, it is clear the BOJ does not need to alter its massive monetary stimulation programme for now.”
