Biden pledges end to gas-powered federal vehicle purchases by 2035 -Breaking

(Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden signed Wednesday an executive order pledging that he will transition to purchasing zero-emission vehicles within 2035 to replace the federal vehicle fleet.

US government has approximately 600,000 cars. Biden also promised to acquire 100% zero emission light-duty vehicles by 2027 in his executive order.
