Aimedis, the blockchain-based healthcare company is moving into the metaverse. They are working to achieve this goal by creating their own digital area, which includes a chain of clinics.

At least, the metaverse was introduced to the mainstream by the media rebranding at Facebook (NASDAQ): The digital parallel world has the potential to digitize entire branches of industry – including the medical sector. Aimedis also saw the potential and announced its plans to create the Metaverse. Specifically, it is about establishing one’s own medical area in the virtual world, where patients, medical staff, clinics, universities, and companies from the pharmaceutical industry or insurances, among others, have the opportunity to interact digitally with one another.

Other hospitals in the Aimedis Health City (or Metaverse) will be able open virtual clinics and buy or rent entire regions. Aimedis DataxChange can be used to conclude lease agreements, such as those for the purchase or rent of entire areas.

As a first step, the company from the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates will place its first own hospital in the Metaverse – the “Alpha Hospital”. Here, patients can have therapy sessions and consultations with the doctor. Interactions between them are possible as well. Students, staff and even lay people are also trained. Aimedis Virtual Assistant (or AVA) is an AI dedicated to guiding you through virtual space. It also bridges Aimedis and the metaverse.

AimX is also used as payment method in Aimedis. Although it isn’t mandatory, the use of this payment method offers benefits in the form discounts and other perks. AimX was also recently introduced on Pancakeswap Pancakeswap (AIMX, USDT) as well as ProBit. You can also track the price of the token on CoinMarketCap or Coingecko.

Steam’s first demo is available starting January

Aimedis has been hard at work on a demo version for the Health City. The first glimpse of the Health City will be available at Arab Health 2022 in Dubai on January 24th 2022. The demo version of the Steam Game Platform should be available shortly thereafter for interested parties. Aimedis is working on its Metaverse, which will be based upon the Unity Engine. Aimedis has also evaluated the Unreal Engine 5’s use. It will increasingly be used for developing games for next-gen Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 consoles.

Health City will continue to be built around the use of IoT trackers and devices.

The exact launch date of the Aimedis Health City has not been revealed. The company does anticipate the opening of clinics and first areas within the first quarter in 2019.
