Biden directs immediate surge of federal resources to tornado-hit areas -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. president Joe Biden directed Saturday that federal resources be pumped to the most in need areas after severe weather and tornadoes ravaged seven U.S. States.

Deanne Criswell was the administrator of FEMA, White House Homeland Security Adviser Liz Sherwood Randall and others briefed Biden on the deadly tornadoes.

FEMA will send emergency response personnel, water, and other necessities to the region. Biden’s Order will also make available other federal resources.
