G7 ‘absolutely united’ over consequences if Russia invades Ukraine

LIVERPOOL in England (Reuters] – A senior U.S. State Department official declared that the G7 was united in their concerns about Russia’s military buildup and any consequences for Moscow if there is an invasion of Ukraine.

Official described the talks in London between G7 foreign minsters as “intense” but said that diplomatic efforts were still possible to ease tensions with Russia.

She stated that “if they don’t choose that route, there will be huge consequences and severe cost in response,” and that the G7 was united in this.
