Putin told Biden he’d like to meet in person, Kremlin says

MOSCOW, (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin stated to his American counterpart Joe Biden that he “really wanted” to meet him when they met via video conference early this month. Dmitry Peskov of the Kremlin quoted Putin’s spokesperson as having said on Sunday.

According to RIA, Putin did not have any reason to be optimistic after talking to Biden. This was due to continued and serious conceptual differences between Russia, Peskov stated.
