economic growth will be better in 2021 than current 6.25% forecast -Breaking

PARIS (Reuters), – French finance minister Bruno Le Maire claimed Monday that France’s economy will grow faster than the government forecast of 6.25%. However, inflation is currently high and weighing down people’s spending ability.

Le Maire stated that he did not believe the official prediction of 6.25%, but he believes we can do better.

Le Maire said, “We will be better,” when asked about possible growth of 6.5 percent by BFM TV.

France’s central banking raised its 2021 growth outlook to 6.7%, compared with 6.3% in September, and 5.8% for June.
