Tokenpuss creates NFT Eco-system for Platypus Extinction Awareness

Platypus, also known as duckbill, is an Australian amphibian mammal. The platypus is one of only two species in existence from the Ornithorhynchidae, a family that’s common to Eastern Australian freshwater bodies. The animal is at risk of becoming extinct because of the severe drought that has hit Australia and the subsequent fires, which have severely damaged the natural habitat. Tokenpuss has started a project to raise awareness about platypus and the NFT ecosystem.

What’s the Awareness Programme?

It consists of 33 handcrafted tokens that are representative of the platypus, but they live in the metaverse and 10000 unique NFTs called Tokenpuss. This project was launched in Stage 1. This stage will see a total of 8000 NFTs made available for 0.05 ETH per each. Weekly giveaways will be offered. Every tenth owner will receive an airdrop and each 500th, 1000th, 2000th, 3000th, 3000th, 4000th, or 5000th owner will receive a special merch. The project will launch a NFT merchshop upon 100% of sales. A minter who has a particular NFT would receive $10,000 in ETH. On Opensea, the presale will be held on December 11th, 2021. The sale will take place on December 12th, 2021.

Stage 2 will involve integrating NFT in the real world through the creation of a mobile blockchain game using the Tokenpuss, with Adrenaline Game Studios. Tokenpuss would let players trade, collect, and play in the game.

It has also partnered with organizations and influencers who are committed to wildlife conservation. The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF), which receives 10% of weekly earnings, is said to be contributing to improving the conditions and habitat of endangered species.
