(Reuters) – Cash allocations were increased to 5.1% by investors amid growing concerns about central bank hawkishness. BofA Securities’ monthly manager survey revealed this before U.S. Federal Reserve policy decisions and the other central banks.

According to the U.S. Investment Bank, “hawkish central bank” is the greatest tail risk. This has led to a spike in cash at 4.7% and more protective asset allocations.

The survey, published Tuesday, found that cryptocurrencies, unprofitable technology, banks and emerging markets will rally if Fed meets with dovish intentions.

Also, it said that ESG (17%) was the most in-demand trade, while long ESG (18%) and long crypto stocks (39%) are among its top performers.
