U.S. diplomat meets top Ukrainian officials amid Russian military buildup -Breaking

KYIV, Reuters – Karen Donfried (the United States assistant secretary to state) met high ranking Ukrainian officials to discuss diplomatic prospects and reinforce America’s commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty.

According to the State Department, Donfried will travel this weekend to Moscow and Kyiv to speak with senior officials about Russia’s growing military might. Moscow denies planning an attack, and blames NATO and Ukraine for inflaming tensions.
