According to the government, one person was hurt in a fire at Hong Kong’s World Trade Centre, Causeway Bay. The incident occurred during crowded commercial and shopping areas.
According to the scale one through five, it was upgraded from a level 1 to 5 incident to a level 3.
The government stated that firefighters battled the flames using two water jets. They also used breathing apparatus and ladders to rescue those trapped inside.
According to local radio station RTHK, police said that around 100 people fled from a restaurant on the 39th Floor to a podium.
Following the evacuation of firefighters, there was peace outside the World Trade Centre.
