Co announced Wednesday that it plans to produce 800,000.00 vehicles worldwide in January. This is a new record. It ramps up production as it makes up for lost parts.
In a press statement, the company announced that they will “continue to maintain our production outlook of 9 million units” in the year up to March 31.
This January’s production plan is an improvement of 60,000 vehicles over the previous year.
COVID-19’s hit factories in Malaysia, Vietnam and Vietnam have caused a shortfall of components that has made the automaker world’s most powerful by volume.
These shortages, the company said this week, are forcing them to stop manufacturing in Japan in December. The result is a lost of production of 14,000 vehicles for the month.
