Frankfurt closed with the index rising 0.15% and adding 0.42%. The index also climbed by 1.29%.
Sartorius AG VZO O.N. was the best performer of the session. (DE:), rose 2.77%, or 15.400 point to trade at 571.800 by the close. Merck KGaA added 1.85%, or 4.10 points, to close at 225.85 Qiagen Late trade saw NV (DE) rise 1.73%, or 0.830 point to 48.880
These were the worst performers of the session. Zalando SE (DE): The close was 68.99, down 3.06%. Airbus Group SE (DE) fell 2.38% (or 2.44 points) to finish at 100.06, while Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST was down 2.35% (1.280 points) and reached 53.130.
These were the top performers on MDAX Evotec AG O.N. O.N. Nemetschek AG O.N. O.N.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG, DE:), which fell 3.21% to 5.5675 in late trading, and AUTO1 Group SE (DE;), which lost 3.07%. They settled at 20.84. Commerzbank AG O.N. (DE:), which fell 2.54% to 6.455 at the end.
