Creatd Completes its Third NFT Art Offering; Ends Auction Having Sold All Ten of “The Madonna Pictures”Creatd, Inc. (Nasdaq CM: CRTD) (“Creatd” or the “Company”), has announced the results of its third NFT (non-fungible token) art auction, featuring pop idol Madonna, which concluded today with all 10 of the photographs having sold during the course of the two hour auction. The auction received a total of over 150 individual bids, attracting the Company’s widest participation in an NFT offering to date. These items were sold on average for 0.0622 Ethereum, which is approximately $240.

Creatd’s founder and co-CEO Jeremy Frommer said,
There are more than 200,000 images within our collection, as well as thousands of illustrations and hours of video that date back to Guccione’s peak. You can package these assets and sell them as individual NFTs or individually. There are many opportunities to make transmedia series from the properties. This capability will be enhanced by our NFT technology platform. Blockchain technology will be used to enable the trading, marketing and sale digital artworks, collectors and creator content. Creators have a variety of exciting options to make the most of technology and showcase their passions through NFTs.
The photographs in CRTD’s third NFT drop featured pop icon Madonna posing nude for photographer Herman Kulkens while she was a dance student at the University of Michigan in 1977. Eight of the 10 NFTs were sold to individuals unaffiliated, while two NFTs were bought by Creatd employees.
Frommer continued,
These auctions give us valuable data both quantitatively as well as qualitatively. We look forward to sharing our insights with you, especially on the technical aspects and fundamental questions of blockchain, crypto and NFT. After the sale of the Madonna NFTs (10 total), we will be holding a 7-day auction to list our unique NFT, the “Trump Pictures”. The Trump NFT will be available to bid at an initial price of 240 WETH. Instead of being listed at that price, it is now up for auction at a price starting at 0.25 WETH or about $100.
