Bank of England raises interest rate to 0.25% -Breaking

LONDON, (Reuters) – The Bank of England increased its main interest rate by 0.2% on Thursday in response to rising inflation pressures in Britain.

Reuters polled over 2,000 economists to find that most expected the BoE’s Bank Rate to remain at 0.1% in light of a recent surge in coronavirus-related cases.
