U.S. auto safety nominee hopes to wrap up Tesla investigations ‘soon’ -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The nominee of the Biden Administration to be the top regulator for auto safety said on Thursday that he hopes that the agency will soon complete investigations into Tesla’s (NASDAQ:).

Steven Cliff, the deputy administrator of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, was asked questions about Tesla’s investigations and replied that “we hope those investigations will be wrapped up soon.” He stated that he does not know if there is a specific timeline.
