U.S. Senate parliamentarian rejects Democrats’ immigration proposal in Build Back Better bill -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – A U.S. Senate senator has rejected Democrats’ proposal to issue work permits for millions of illegal immigrants living in America since at least a decade in President Joe Biden’s $1.75 billion Build Back Better bill. This was a statement by a senior Democratic senator on Thursday.

Dick Durbin is the Senate Judiciary Committee chair and No. 2 Senate Democrat, told reporters that he was “disappointed and we’re considering what options remain.”
