Cramer says he likes that ‘everybody got so negative’ on stocks, suggests buying on market drops

CNBC’s Jim CramerOn Friday, he stated that he is looking to this week’s stock market decline as a purchasing opportunity.

Cramer explained that “We are trying to figure what the hell to buy” and not what to market. “Squawk on the Street,”The Dow Jones Industrial AverageThe S&P 500And the NasdaqThey all fell by more than 1 percent.

He added, “I’m looking, looking, and looking.”

It “Mad Money”Host believes that there are still good chances of getting the Santa Claus rally. She stated on TV, “Historically rallying into year end has basically been a perfect call since 2008”.

Cramer shared some other suggestions on where to invest your money. Have a look at chip stocks. Have a look at oils. You can see that they are all acting better. Perhaps you could put on some today, and some Monday. It’s a good idea.

Cramer stated, “Squawk On the Street” that he liked the way everyone got so negative. He was referring to Thursday’s slide which then rolled into Friday.

By midday, the Dow was taking it on the chin, the S&P 500 was lower; and the Nasdaq was outperforming Thursday’s nearly 2.5% decline.

Stocks finished higher on Wednesday, after Wall Street appeared to be in good health. Federal Reserve’The decision by the government to speed up its bond-buying taper, and signal three interest rate increases next year.

The S&P 500, which traded above last week’s record close at one point Thursday, ended the day nearly 1% away from that level. Close to 1.5% was the closing margin of Thursday’s Dow session, compared with last month. Nearly 5.5% of last month’s record closing close was achieved by the Nasdaq on Thursday.
