GSK picks ex-Tesco chief Lewis to head spun-off consumer healthcare arm

Sky News reports that GlaxoSmithKline Plc, NYSE:, has named former Chief Executive Officer at Tesco (OTC), Plc Dave Lewis, to lead GSK’s consumer healthcare division. The unit is currently being spun off as a standalone company.

The broadcaster indicated that confirmation of his appointment could be made as quickly as Monday.

GSK has not yet responded to Reuters’s request for comment.

It is scheduled to enter effect in the next year.
