Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The Paris closing bell saw the index rise 1.38% and the Paris closing bell saw the increase of 1.41%.

These were the best performers of the session Worldline SA (PA:) rose by 4.74%, or 2.17 points, to close at 48.02 Airbus Group SE, (PA:), gained 4.4% or 4.74 to finish at 106.80. Vivendi Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 4.49%, or 0.51 point to 11.74

Eurofins Scientific SE(PA:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 0.95% (or 1.04 points) to close at 108.20. Dassault Systemes SE, (PA:), lost 0.62% (0.32 points) to close at 51.44 Hermes International The SCA (PA) dropped 0.45% to 1536.50, or 7.00 points.

Bollore SA was the top performer on SBF 120, rising 11.54% at 4.83; TechnipFMC PLC rose 5.61% at 5.31; and Worldline SA(PA:), which gained 4.74% at close at 48.02.

They were among the most disappointing. Valneva (PA): which dropped 4.22% at 24.520 late trade Sartorius Stedim Biotech SA (PA) lost 1.59% to settle on 453.20, while Eurofins Scientific SE was at 108.20.

The February delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.40%, or 7.10 percent to $1787.50 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose by 4.04%, or 2.77, to $71.38 per barrel. The February Brent oil contract rose by 3.59%, or 2.57, to $74.09 per barrel.

EUR/USD dropped 0.6% to 1.1268 and EUR/GBP fell 0.377% to 0.8504.

At 96.578, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.03%.
