U.S. SEC says EDGAR facing technical problems -Breaking

(Reuters) – The U.S. Security and Exchange Commission, (SEC), stated Wednesday that technical issues were affecting its EDGAR system.

EDGAR, also known as the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval System, is a repository of submissions by individuals and companies that are legally required to file SEC forms.

The banner message from SEC on its website stated that “The EDGAR network is experiencing technical difficulties”.

SEC sent an email notifying subscribers that EDGAR was not currently disseminating at (Public Dissemination Service), so they are unable to receive files.

A Reuters check revealed that no company filings have been found in the database as of Tuesday night.
