Paychex Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q2 -Breaking

Paychex (NASDAQ 🙂 announced Wednesday the results of its second quarter. The revenue beat forecasts by analysts.

Paychex posted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.91 for revenue $1.11B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $0.7974 for revenue $1.06B.

Paychex shares rose 23% over the first of the year but are down 0.31% from November 22’s 52-week peak of $126.82. They outperform the Nasdaq with a 19.03% increase since the beginning.

Following the publication, Paychex shares rose by 3.61% in premarket trade.

Paychex is following other important earnings in the Information Technology sector this month

Paychex reported after Broadcom beat them on December 9. Broadcom posted EPS figures of $7.81 for revenue $7.41B and forecasts EPS numbers of $7.74 for revenue $7.36B.

Adobe met expectations, with fourth quarter earnings per share of $3.2 based on $4.11B in revenue. That compares to $4.09B revenue forecasted for an EPS of $3.2.
