Opera (NASDAQ) announced Wednesday that it will be integrating with Polygon (Polygon).MATIC). This integration is expected to be live by the end of the first quarter 2022. It will open Polygon’s ecosystem first to Opera’s more than 80 million Android users, and then to all other platforms. Polygon can be considered a layer 2.ETHScaling solution that allows for faster transactions and lower gas prices.

Opera users can now access Polygon’s decentralized apps, or dApps (such as Sushiswap and Curve), as well as Blockchain games and platforms that don’t allow for fungible tokens such as Opensea and Decentraland.
