REUTERS/Kim Kyung-Hoon/File PhotoTOKYO, Reuters – Japan’s weak yen could be making it harder for households to make a living by driving up costs of living, Haruhiko Kuroda, chief bank chief, said Thursday.
The weak currency is still helping to boost economic growth. However, Kuroda (the governor of Bank of Japan) added some words in a speech.
He said that Japan’s benefits from a decline in the yen are generally greater than the costs.
