Some injuries after fire at Exxon’s Baytown, Texas facility -Breaking

(Reuters). Several injuries were caused by a major industrial accident at Exxon’s Baytown Texas facility, Exxon (NYSE) reported the Harris County Sheriff’s Office via Twitter (NYSE) Friday.

Exxon, who reported the fire at the facility that houses an oil refining plant and a chemical plant had posted this message to a network of community alarms.

Emergency vehicles and flames might be visible to the public at this moment. “We are in contact with the local authorities and trying to solve the problem as soon as we can,” said the message.

Twitter users reported on an explosion which shaken buildings nearby.

Exxon has not yet responded to our queries.
