McLaren Racing Abu Dhabi GP Livery to Have Original Artwork Available As NFT

Because of high demand for this artwork, McLaren Racing is selling it digitally. McLaren Racing, along with its partner BAT (LON)’s global vapor brand Vuse have given Rabab Tantawy complete artistic control over the NFT livery, “Together As One,” that launches December 20th. She became the first Middle Eastern woman artist to have her artwork displayed on a racecar livery in a Grand PrixTM race.

Rabab was the exclusive artist who launched Vuse’s Driven by Change initiative, which encourages underrepresented creatives to pursue their work. Rabab’s Abu Dhabi experience will continue to be an inspiration for creatives around the world who wish to make a difference in the racing industry through their works.

As part of Rabab’s “Together As One” campaign, the Nubian Series*** tee has the McLaren Racing papaya and blue color scheme. Rabab is passionate about Nubians and explored them both on the canvas as well as off it. This inspired and motivated Rabab to create the livery’s design.

Rabab Tantawy said,

“Hundreds have responded positively to my new look. A number of people from across the globe reached out to me asking about NFTs. It was my pleasure to create my first. Driven By Diversity is one of my favourite charities and this sculpture will be a benefit to them. This wonderful charity will provide opportunities for underrepresented segments of the racing industry.

Driven By Diversity (DBD), which is a non profit organization that supports diversity and inclusion, will receive the entire proceeds of the Objkt platform’s sale of one NFT. This excludes any third-party platforms’ transaction costs or commissions. Driven By Diversity will receive all royalty payments arising from the NFT conditions (again, excluding transaction fees and commissions retained by third-party platform platforms).
