TRASHYMUSE and Electronic Beats' NFT collab celebrates a new digital era

The artwork, “Metamorphosis,” was inspired by the TRASHYMUSE Metaverse and the TRASHYMUSE Community on tmvr.io. According to #NextGen, the NFT marks the “entry of a new era” for digital producers. Telekom Electronic Beats declared that “decentralization is essential for diversity and empowerment.”

These topics all relate to the ongoing metaverse conversation about shared expressions, growing club culture and new connections. The NFT is also highlighted by the launch of @trashymuse, a new Twitter handle (NYSE:), which represents a merger of two separate but complementary online communities.

Pop culture encompasses everything that is art-related and about artists. TRASHYMUSE says that NFTs are a significant influence on how art is sold and handled. They allow art to be displayed where buyers can directly buy or bid. NFTs have a significant impact on the democraticization of the art market, and return the power to the artists.

TRASHYMUSE presented the first augmented reality/virtual avatar exhibit at Paris Fashion Week’s SS20 Fashion Week. This allowed users to see the brand’s designs through virtual reality. The display featured an all-star cast, including Shudu, Dagny and Branded Boi, TRASHYMUSE’s digital supermodel. Telekom Electronic Beats (a Berlin-based platform) has been documenting the synergy between fashion, music and design since 2000. Collaborations with Grace Jones, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish and Grace Jones have all been documented.

TRASHYMUSE believed that Electronic Beats had a future-focused audience and formed a partnership with them. EB and tmvr.io complement and support our efforts to bring electronic music and pop culture into the metaverse because they share common interests in innovation and art.
