MATIC as Uniswap Launches On Polygon: MATIC Hits a New All-Time High

As the Polygon project continues to find new uses, season 2 of the polygon season will continue. In a new development, – the largest decentralized exchange on the market – has been deployed on the Polygon network.

Mihailo Bilic (co-founder of Polygon) submitted a proposal to the Uniswap governance platform in November for Uniswap v3 deployment on Polygon. The proposal was approved by more than 72,000,000 Uniswap token holders on December 18.

On December 23, Polygon deployed Uniswap V3 on its network giving users access to swap tokens using the Polygon blockchain via Uniswap’s official interface. Uniswap facilitated more than $600 billion worth of trading on its v2 platform and v3 platform in 2021.

Polygon (MATIC), Soars to a New All-Time Record

MATIC (the native token of Polygon) began rallying immediately after the announcement. It reached an all-time high of $2.70. MATIC, the native token of the Polygon network, set a new high at $2.70 in December thanks to an 27% gain in seven days.

MATIC traded at $2.5737, after briefly reversing. MATIC’s year-to-date gains have exceeded 14,400% making it the most successful crypto of 2021. Polygon, now the 14th-largest crypto, has a market cap of $17.83 million.
