Z Holdings Corp. T: was among the top performers for the session. It rose by 3.33%, or 21.5 points, to trade at 667.4 close. Meanwhile, Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd. T: added 2.15%, or 260.0 points, to reach 12370.0 DOWA Holdings Co. Ltd. T: was trading at 1.68%, or 80.0 points higher than usual to 4835.0 late trade.

The February delivery of crude oil was 0.12% lower or 0.09 below $76.47 per barrel. Brent oil, which was due for delivery on March 10, fell 0.13 or 0.10, hitting $79.11/barrel. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract lost 0.47% (or 8.40) to trade at $1797.40 per troy ounce.
USD/JPY rose 0.20% at 115.17 while EUR/JPY dropped 0.07% at 130.35.
At 96.102, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.18%.
