© Reuters. Ready Player Me, a Metaverse gaming platform has announced a $13million Series A financing. This was led by Taavet+Sten and Wise co-founders. Further participation will come from Tom Preston-Werner co-founders at GitHub and Samsung (KS;) Next. Konvoy Ventures and Gmoney.
This platform plans to use the capital for its ambitions of avatar interoperability among metaverse worlds. This initiative backs the notion of multiple digital dimension as opposed to one model. Meta was formerly called Facebook (NASDAQ):, and there have been warnings that it may try to dominate the metaverse.
