Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

These were the best performers of the session International Company for Water and Power Projects – ACWA Power (SE:) rose 5.40%, or 4.30 points, to trade at 89.00 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (+4.92%) gained 9.20 points to finish at 196.20. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group, SJSC (SE :), was up 4.21% (0.95 points) to 23,60 in late trading.

Sadr Logistics Co. (SE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 9.86%, or 11.20 points, to close at 102.40. Saudi Cable Company (SE) fell 2.30%, or 0.46 points, to close at 19.52. Zamil Industrial Investment Co was down 1.94% (or 0.55 points) to 27.75.

The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 115 percent to 93 percent, and ended the day unchanged at 13 years.

The February delivery of crude oil was 0.33 percent higher at $76.81 per barrel. Brent oil rose 0.21 percent to $79.42 per barrel in commodity trading. The February Gold Futures contract dropped 0.20% to $1802.15 an ounce.

EUR/SAR dropped 0.30% from 4.2463 to 4.2463 while USD/SAR declined 0.00% to 3.7542.

At 96.120, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.20%.
