Bruce Arians claims that Antonio Brown no longer is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer after his wide receiver exited the field following Sunday’s victory against the New York Jets.

Brown took off his jersey and shoulder pads, and ran to the locker room. This was midway through Sunday’s third quarter at MetLife Stadium.

Brown did not play in the game as the Buccaneers led 24-10.

Arians responded to questions regarding Brown at his post-match conference by saying: “He’s not a Buc.” The end of this story.

FOX reports that Brown was “boiled over” and couldn’t be persuaded to remain with the team.

Mike Evans, another receiver, tried unsuccessfully to prevent Brown from removing his shoulder pads.

Brown, who was standing in the goal zone making “peaceout” gestures to the crowd as the other teams played, was observed doing so.

Brown was able to catch three passes on five targets, totalling 26 yards. In seven games, Brown has 42 receptions for 545 yards with four touchdowns.

From the beginning of his Steelers career, the 33-year old has had a history of distractions, off-the-field incidents and legal troubles. Brown was recently suspended by the NFL for failing to produce a COVID-19 vaccination card.

Brown was suspended from the NFL’s 2020 season for numerous violations of its personal conduct policy. Due to battery, burglary and criminal mischief charges, he was turned over to the police by Florida in January 2020.

After one New England Patriots game, Brown was expelled by them for sexual misconduct allegations and threats of violence to his accuser. After Brown was released from the Oakland Raiders, New England took him in.
