NEW YORK (Reuters), The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said Tuesday that it had delayed its decision about a NYDIG proposal to create a bitcoin exchange traded fund (ETF), which would take into account the value of bitcoin in trusts.

SEC stated that it will decide whether the Bitcoin ETF (NYDIG), a Stone Ridge subsidiary, can trade on Intercontinental Exchange’s NYSE Arca. This decision is in place of its January 15 deadline.
