Intel launches graphics chips for gamers in effort to take on Nvidia -Breaking

(Reuters) – Intel Corp On Tuesday (NASDAQ) it announced that new graphics chips aimed for PC gamers have been shipped. Nvidia Corp., a larger competitor to the chipmaker (NASDAQ) Corp.

Intel’s Arc graphic chips make video games and other media look better. These chips represent Intel’s first attempt in years on the market. They will challenge Nvidia which saw graphics chip sales in excess of $9.8billion in its last fiscal year. This 29% increase is a major achievement.

Intel announced Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show that the company has made deals to sell the chips in 50 models. Dell Technologies (NYSE :), Lenovo Group(OTC 🙂 Ltd., and Samsung Electronicss (OTC 🙂 Co Ltd. will all be offering chips.

Nvidia earlier on Tuesday announced that 160 models of PCs have adopted its new graphics chip.
