Bank of America hires veteran investment banker Benjamin Saunders -Breaking

According to Reuters’ Tuesday memo.
Saunders is a former principal client coverage officer for New England depository institutions and mid-Atlantic banks at J.P. Morgan.
With over 25 years of investment banking experience, Saunders played a crucial role in several M&A deals, including Eastern Bankshares’ acquisition of Century Bancorp last year and BSB’s sale to People’s United in 2018, according to the memo.
This appointment is made against the background of top Wall Street companies’ talent battles. Dealmaking activity saw a record year in 2021. Refinitiv data shows that BofA advised more than 350 deals in 2017.
