Ford Motor posts 6.8% fall in 2021 U.S. auto sales -Breaking

REUTERS/Brendan McDermid(Reuters) – Ford Motor (NYSE) Co reported Wednesday a 6.8% drop in U.S. car sales for 2021. This was after Ford Motor had to postpone deliveries because of lingering supply chain bottlenecks as well as a shortage of global chips.
Detroit’s automaker, Detroit Motor Company, sold 1,905,955 cars in 2021, as compared with 2,044,744 vehicles one year ago.
