Investing.com – Japan stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Tokyo closed at 2.88%.

Kansai electric power co Inc (T:), which gained 1.47% (16.0 points) to finish at 1103.0 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Late trade saw a rise in (T:), which was up 1.18% (33.5 points) to 2874.0
