UK’s Greggs appoints new CEO, sees full-year ahead of expectations -Breaking

LONDON, (Reuters) – British food-to go retailer Greggs announced that Roisin Currie, its property and retail director for the fourth quarter of its 2004 financial year, will succeed Roger Whiteside. The company reported a 0.8% increase in sales for like-for-like products compared with two years ago.

Company, which is known for sausage rolls and sandwiches as well as cakes, stated that its expectations of the full-year result would slightly exceed its prior ones.

Greggs reported that Whiteside was aware of his intentions to retire.
