Investing.com — Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:) shares rose just under 1% Thursday after BofA analyst Vivek Arya called it a top computer pick.
Following a conference call with Nvidia’s Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress on September 13, the analyst reiterated her buy rating and $375 price goal for the stock.
Arya wrote in a research note that he believes there is momentum for the 2022 gaming, multi-platform and data centers.
With its highly-leverageable, accelerated computing platform, he said that the company was “best-positioned” to take advantage of many multi-decade-long secular growth opportunities.
Arya stated that while “capacity continues to be a bottleneck” with the demand for gaming products outpacing supply in 2021 (especially), management said they are working hard at securing supplies and anticipate constraints to decrease in 2H 2022.
Analysts said that the company was a high-ranking compute choice, even without Arm’s potential acquisition. However, the analyst stated, “can achieve comparable ends at much lower prices without Arm.”
