New Mexico, New York police work to get Baldwin phone info -Breaking

TAOS N.M. (Reuters – New Mexico authorities said Thursday that they would work with New York police to collect material from Alec Baldwin’s phone. This is in relation to a probe of the shooting death of a cinematographer who was on set for the Western film “Rust.”

Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney’s Office stated that they are working together with New York Sheriff’s Department, Suffolk County, and Baldwin’s attorneys to obtain any information relating to their investigation.

According to court records, the statement was made almost three weeks after Santa Fe sheriff’s office obtained a warrant to search Baldwin’s Apple (NASDAQ) iPhone. The warrant allowed the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office to inspect text messages, emails correspondence, browsing activity, and any other data stored on the iPhone.

Baldwin’s lawyer and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson did not respond immediately to inquiries for comment.

Baldwin owns a house in Amagansett County near the east tip of Long Island.

According to the New Mexico Prosecutor, some of the people involved in the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins last October could face criminal charges.
