Kazakhstan’s bonds, stocks bounce after crackdown on unrest -Breaking

© Reuters. LONDON (Reuters – Kazakhstan’s bonds recouped as much as 1.2cs. London shares of Kazatomprom, Kazakhstan’s leading uranium producer bounced 4% last Friday after authorities tightened their control over unrest within the former Soviet state.
A government-issued dollar-denominated debt, due for repayment in 2045 by the principal, was recovered as high as 1.2 cents out of seven cents. Kazatomprom shares, however, rose to the same levels as they were at the start of this year.
