REUTERS/Jeenah MoonWASHINGTON (Reuters), American Airlines (NASDAQ 🙂 reported Friday that over 96% of its employees submitted evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 or requested accommodations to meet the requirements.
The largest U.S. airline halted the implementation of the mandate that required its U.S. employees to get vaccinated against coronavirus, or to have a medical or religious exemption. This delay was made in November.
American stated Friday that anyone who has not been vaccinated (including those in approved accommodations) will have to fill out a weekly self health declaration and practice social distancing whenever possible. They also need to wear a mask every time they go outside.
